Padel is booming in many cities in Europe, but finding a court shouldn’t be harder than winning a set.

If you’ve tried booking a padel court in London for example, you already know the struggle: endless tabs, multiple apps, and… nothing available. That frustration led us to build Playskan — the world’s first padel booking aggregator.

The Problem

Padel is growing fast across the UK and Europe, with new clubs opening every week. But the booking experience hasn’t caught up. Each provider — Playtomic, Matchi, Padelmates, and others — has its own app or website. There’s no way to compare court availability across them all in one place. Players waste time, miss slots, or give up entirely.

The Solution

We built a centralised platform that lets you search court availability across major booking providers. No logins, no switching tabs — just one view of all the padel slots near you.

You can search by city and filter by club, and see exactly which time slots are available today, tomorrow, or even next few weeks. The goal is to save players time, make padel more accessible, and promote price transparency.

Playskan features a calendar view, with each cell showing how many clubs have availability for that slot, and what the price range is. Users can click on a slot and see the full details of available clubs, and book through the platform that hosts the club.

Playskan shows available courts from all major booking providers, and let’s users filter by club and court type.

How We Built It

From a technical side, the platform uses a custom-built data collection system hosted on AWS that gathers real-time data from major booking providers. The backend is powered by FastAPI, with padel booking data stored in DynamoDB. The frontend is built with React and Next.js for a clean, mobile-first experience.

We’ve kept costs lean by taking advantage of AWS free tier, a NoSQL database, and optimised data collection intervals. The calendar view shows hourly availability per day — so if courts are open at 7 PM across five clubs, you’ll see that in one glance.

What’s Next

We’re actively expanding to cover more cities beyond London and adding smarter filtering — including surface type, lighting, and even weather integration.

If you play padel in London, give Playskan a try. You might just find your next game in seconds, not hours.

TLDR

  • Padel booking is fragmented
  • Playskan aggregates all major providers into one view
  • Built with React, FastAPI, AWS
  • Free to use, no signups — just search and play
