These Website Terms govern your access to and use of playskan.com (the "Site"), operated by Playskan Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16509905, registered office at 12 Clydesdale Gardens, TW10 5EF, London, UK). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to everyone who uses the Site, whether or not you have an account. That includes court search, club listings, the blog, and the Playskan Insights pages that are public. If you create a Playskan account, our Account Terms also apply. They cover the free Basic plan and paid Playskan Insights subscriptions. If the two conflict on anything to do with your account or subscription, the Account Terms prevail.
1. What Playskan Is
Playskan measures the UK padel market. The Site has two parts:
- Court search: a free search engine and aggregator that helps players discover and compare padel court availability and pricing from third-party booking platforms.
- Playskan Insights: market data and analysis for club owners, operators, and investors. Some Insights pages are public. Others need a free or paid account.
Playskan is not a booking platform. We do not process bookings, take payments for bookings, or act as an agent for any club or booking provider. When you click to book a court, you are redirected to the relevant third-party platform (such as Playtomic, MATCHi, or others) to complete your booking directly with them.
2. Data Sources
The booking availability, pricing, club, and market information displayed on the Site is collected from publicly accessible data published by third-party booking platforms and other publicly available sources, such as club websites, business listings, and public planning records.
Our value lies in the aggregation, organisation, and presentation of this information in a way that helps players find courts and helps the industry understand the market. Our methodology is described at /insights/methodology.
3. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date:
- Court availability and pricing is sourced from third-party platforms and may not reflect real-time conditions. Slots may have been booked, prices may have changed, or courts may be temporarily unavailable.
- Club information (addresses, amenities, court types, opening hours) is compiled from publicly available sources and may not always be current.
- Market figures such as occupancy, revenue, and growth estimates are estimates derived from our own analysis of public data. They are not the actual records of any club and are not financial, investment, or professional advice.
- We update our data regularly but cannot guarantee completeness or accuracy at any given time.
You should always verify availability and pricing on the booking platform before making a booking.
4. No Contractual Relationship
Playskan is not a party to any booking, transaction, or agreement between you and a club or booking platform. Any booking you make is subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant third-party platform.
We have no responsibility for:
- The fulfilment, cancellation, or quality of any booking
- Payment disputes or refunds
- The conduct or policies of any club or booking platform
- Any loss arising from reliance on information displayed on the Site
5. Outbound Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites and booking platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or practices of any third-party site. Clicking an outbound link takes you away from Playskan, and your use of that site is governed by its own terms and policies.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Playskan Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of the Site or from decisions or actions taken based on information displayed on it.
- We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any information provided.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude liability.
You acknowledge that you use the Site at your own risk.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Site without our prior written consent
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site's functionality or infrastructure
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without permission
8. Intellectual Property
The Site's design, layout, code, and original content are the intellectual property of Playskan Ltd.
Club names, logos, and images displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only.
Booking data sourced from third-party platforms remains the property of those platforms. Our aggregation, analysis, and presentation of this data, including the datasets, estimates, and reports published on the Site, are our original work. They are protected by copyright and database rights.
Quoting our data. You may quote individual figures from public pages of the Site, such as a statistic in an article or a presentation, if you credit "Playskan" and, where you can, link to the page you took it from. Anything more needs our prior written permission. That includes copying datasets or substantial parts of them, republishing reports, using our data in a commercial product, and using it to train or feed an AI system. Data shown only to signed-in users is covered by the Account Terms and may not be shared this way.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the Site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Website Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
11. Governing Law
These Website Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
